From funeral record: "Thomas B. McGrath was born in Flemingsburg
Kentucky, 1868, and later moved with his parents to Anthony Kansas where
he, his father, and his brother ran a carriage shop. After his father's
death at Anthony, Tom, his brother, sisters, and mother came to Oklahoma
in 1889.
He located on a claim North East of Kingfisher, living there nineteen
years.
He then moved to Texas.
From there he came to Washington in 1908 at Tacoma. He went to work for
the Northern Pacific Railroad and moved to Hoaquiam in 1923 where he has
since resided. He retired from the railroad in 1937.
Living at 2817 Simpson Avenue with his family until his death, October 4,
1943. He was buried from The Lday of the Help Church into Sunset
Memorial Park, Hoquiam, Washington.
