  My husband is a nephew of Sivert's. We researched Irvin's death several
  years ago and recieved copies of his military records and the Coast
  Guard Accident Report that covers his drowning. He separated from the US
  Navy in 1920, evidently joined a religious cult (House of David) and
  sailed on their Lake Michigan schooner, the Rosabelle. It "turned
  turtle" during a storm in late October, 1921. No bodies were recovered.
  There is a military marker in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Lidgerwood,
  ND where his parents and some other family members are buried.
