Some sources show Judith to be the daugther of Baldwin V.
There has been a long debate over her paternity (i.e. which of her mother's two husbands was father - Richard III (d.1027) duke/count of Normandy or Baldwin V (d.1065) count of Flanders). At one time it was also suggested that Judith might be Baldwin's sister. ES II:79 goes for the Richard III option.
