Frances Boland
Little Mountain - Services for Frances Graham Boland, 78, of 3303
Wheeland Rd., will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran
Church, by the Rev. Fred Suhr. Interment will follow in the church
cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Whitaker Funeral Home,
Newberry. The family will be at teh residence, 3303 Wheeland Rd., Little
Mountain. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O.
Box 186, Little Mountain 29075. Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry, is in
charge.
Mrs. Boland died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late J. Wilbur and Catherine
Folk Graham. She was retired from the Newberry County Schools as a
kindergarten teacher's aide at Little Mountain Elementary School. She
was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Adult Sunday School
Class, the Merry Mountaineers, and the Cooper-Fuller Women's Group of the
WELCA.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil L. Boland of the home; daughters,
Bonnie B. Barnes of Atlanta, Judith B. Wessinger of Little Mountain; sns,
Leon F. Boland, Charles H. Boland, David I. Boland, all of Little
Mountain; sisters, Annette Floyd of Pomaria, Grace Pence of Tampa, Allene
Guy of Columbia; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. She was
predeceased by her sister, Pauline Lathrop; brothers, William F. Graham,
Allen Graham.
