1155: King Henry II gave land in Buckby to Saher for the service of one

1158-64: pardoned his scutage in respect of that manor [Ref: Barlow 1958 p62]
1166: Baron's Certificate show Saher de Quincy as holding of Robert de Chokes
for one and a half knights fees (Buckby) and of Walter fitz Robert, of new
