‌John M. and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on October 19th, 1811 in Albemarle Co., Virginia.  They had six sons and three daughters, named Beverley A., James Morton, Asa D., William Daniel, John M., George, Elizabeth, Sarah Margaret and Mary Frances.
