General Notes
- Sarah's handmaid. When Hagar became pregnant by Abraham, she came to despise Sarah. Eventually, Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away-first at Sarah's command but secondly because God assured Abraham Hagar and Ishmael would be well. Gen. 16, 21.
