William Benjamin Douglas Chandler

William Benjamin Douglas was born in Sulphur Creek And Briar Pond Near Coble, TN. He died in 1943. He was buried in Chessor Cemetery.

- Will Chandler was born and raised on Sulphur Creek and Briar Pond near Coble. Will first married Nancy Coble(1858-1883) on Dec 16, 1878. She died in childbirth in 1883. Two children lived John and Sarah Adeline, JOHN DIED AT 21. Sarah (Sally) married Thomas Weatherspoon. Will married Mary Lancaster in 1885. After a brief time left him for parts unknown. Will was a farmer. He was also a basket weaver. Some of his split oak egg baskets still exist and are passed as treasured heirlooms from generation to generation, He also loved to read. His third marriage to Susan Loucinda Brisby was 50 years and 7 children,
