Mrs. Lamonica,
83, Passes Away
Mrs. Maria Battaglla Lamonlca,
83, Lower S. James St., died this
morning in a Rome hospital.
She was born in Palerno, Italy
Feb. 7, 1867. She has resided in
this city since coming to the Unit-
ed States in 1901. Her husband
died In Italy some years ago.
She was a communicant of St.
John the Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters
Mrs. Anna Lombardo, New London;
Mrs. Angeline LeVett Syracuse,
and Mrs. Theresa Constanzo,
New York City; five:sons, August
with whom she made her home;
Thomas, 204 E. Sycamore St.: Joseph
and Anthony, Los Angeles
and Samuel, whose address is
unknown; a sister, Mrs. Fanny Rizzo
Italy, and several grandchildren
and great grandchllden.

15, 1950 in this City, Maria La-
Monica, age 83.
Funeral services will be held
from the Martin J. Nunn Funeral
IIome on Monday at 9 a. m. and
at St. John the Baptist Church at
9:30 a. m. where a low Mass will
be celebrated. Interment in St.
Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home 2 p. m. to 10 P m. on Satur-
day and Sunday.
