WILLIAM WILKINSON married CATHERINE STONE, the daughter of WILLIAM STONE and CATHERINE STRATFORD. After the death of WILLIAM WILKINSON, CATHERINE married secondly _____ SHEPPARD. CATHERINE SHEPPARD wrote her will on 5/10/1714 and it was probated on 5/26/1714(14: 7). She left her personal estate to her sons WILLIAM WILKINSON and JOHN WILKINSON, and her daughter CATHERINE TANEY, daughter FRANCIS HUTCHINS and her husband WILLIAM HUTCHINS, and her daughters MARY PAINE and CATHERINE WILSON, grandchildren ROBERT HUTCHINS, JOHN HUTCHINS, CATHERINE WILSON, and MARGARET TANEY and QUILL HUTCHINS. On 5/22/1714 and inventory was taken of her estate, valued at £121.11.08. JOHN WILKINSON and JOHN TANEY approved the inventory as next of kin(36A: 146). When WILLIAM WILKINSON made an accounting of the estate on 5/24/1715 her legatees were CATHERINE HUTCHINS and MARY PAYNE.

WILLIAM WILKINSON (2) was born in St. Mary's County, Maryland, the son of WILLIAM WILKINSON (1) and CATHERINE STONE. On 11/10/1694 153 acres of "Industry" in Resurrection Hundred was surveyed for RICHARD SMITH. This tract was assigned to WILLIAM WILKINSON who was in possession of Tract of the tract in 1707. On 8/11/1722 WILIAM WILKINSON recieved 14 acres of "Garden" in Resurrection Hundred from William Stone and his wife. WILLIAM WILKINSON married KATHERINE______. WILLIAM WILKINSON was deceased by 2/10/1738 when KATHERINE WILKINSON and WILLIAM WILKINSON administered his estate. His Next of Kin on his Inventory were JAMES WILKINSON and DANIEL GORE(24:53).

CATHERINE WILKINSON (4) was born in St. Mary's County, Maryland, the daughter of WILLIAM WILKINSON (1) and CATHERINE STONE. CATHERINE married first _____ WILSON and Married secondly JOHN TANEY. See TANEY Family. Her mother married secondly _____ SHEPPARD. In her will CATHERINE SHEPPARD named her daughter CATHINE WILSON.
JOHN TANEY, gentleman wrote his will on 8/3/1720 and it was probated in St. Mary's County on 11/5/1720( 16: 214) . He left his dwelling plantation "
Fenwick Manor" to his wife Catherine during her life and after her death it was to go to his son JOHN MICHAEL THOMAS TANEY, or if she died before he was 21 to leave it in trust for him. He named his daughter MARGARET TANEY, his Daughter in Law(step daughter) CATHERINE WILSON, and made bequests to ROBERT HUTCHINS and JOHN HUTCHINS.
After the death of JOHN TANEY, CATHERINE his widow married William Watts wrote her will on 3/19/1721 and it was probated on 8/9/1722 (17: 257). She left to her daughter CATHERINE CLARKE part of Resurrection Manor". She requested her husband William WATTS to take care of her children MARGARET TANEY and JOHN MICHAEL THOMAS TANEY and their estates, otherwise left to the care of CATHERINE CLARKE and CATHERINE RULE. When WILLIAM WATTS died in 1/1723/24 he left his household goods on Patuxent equally to his step children JOHN MICHAEL THOMAS TANEY and MARGARET TANEY. The rest of his estate was left to his nieces and nephews(w 18:211)

FRANCES WILKINSON (5) was born in ST. Mary's County, Maryland, the daughter of WILLIAM WILKINSON(1) CATHERINE STONE. She married WILLIAM HUTCHINS.

JAMES WILKINSON (8 is thought to be the son of WILLIAM WILKINSON (2) and KATHERINE______. Lot # 57 in Beaverdam Manor", containing 57 acres, was
leased on 12/25/1743 to JAMES WILKINSON the tenant in possession. According to the Calvert Papers by 3/21/1762 JAMES WILKINSON had possession of 552 acres of "Beaverdam Manor". In 1768 his land was in possession of WILLIAM WILKINSON b 1736, DAVID WILKINSON born 1743, and AQUILLA WILKINSON born
1741. He married Mary MCGill, the daughter of DAVID MCGILL and MARY ABELL.
