  • Note from Martha Neal Phelix was on the tax lists of Georges Twp.,
    Fayette Co., PA from 1794 to 1798. Tax Assessor, Geroges Twp., PA.
    Philix had one horse 2 cows. Felix first went to Marion Co., KY and is
    known to have purchased land in Dearborn, Indiana 14 January 1807.  He
    purchased more land in Butler Co., Ohio on April 15 1812 and again on the
    25 th and 26 th of Jan 1814. Manyreport his first name to be John. In
    1820 Butler Count, Reily Twp Ohio, Elizabeth is listed as head of
    household (Presumably Felix has Died)  as well as 2 males 0-10, 1 male
