Cecilia Peterson

Cecilia was born in March 1853 in SWE. She died at the age of 70 in 1923 in Ong, NB. She was buried in Shickley, NB.

General Notes
- !Perry said that Cecilia was born in Shickley, NB and that he thinks she was buried there. She lived near Merryville in a community called Neale for about 10 years or so and then went back home to Shickley. She came to the Rosepine area in the 1910-1914 time frame and bought 42 acres more or less of timber land nearby a railroad. He recounted her telling the children of riding the handcart on the railroad from time to time when workers were near their house. She moved back to NB about 1920. She died and was buried in Shickley, NB according to Perry although Garnett's book states she died in Ong, NB. Perhaps she did die in Ong and was buried 15 miles away in Shickley, NB. Mormon record # AFN: C3TV-SV is listed as her file.
  Hazel Spain says in a Feb 2000 letter that Cecilia moved to Rosepine when her mother was 5 years old. So that means they moved to Rosepine @@ 1918 or 1919.
