Dezzie Johnson Cooper

  • Children as noted on attached obit. Desmonda "Dezzie" is listed in obit as a Goins, but we have research showing she was a Johnson at some point in time. Unclear as to when or where. LCAP also states she was married to a Thomas Cooper at some point. He died in May 25, 1916. Supposed to be buried on row 8, south to north.
    Seth's death certificate obtained June 11, 2006 from Louisiana State Archives shows that "Anna Johnson" is Seth's wife at the time of his death. She was 65 when he died at age 72. So, if Effie died in 1924, Seth was 55. He married "Anna Dezzie Johnson Cooper Liliedahl Goins"  on May 19, 1926 according to courthouse records detailed under Seth's records.
