They had two sons and three daughters, named Hendrik Stephanus Hertzog, Coert Petrus, Rachel Elizabeth, Petronella Johanna and Maria Susanna.

Rachel Elizabeth was born on March 8th, 1905 in Cradock. She died at the age of 71 on March 23rd, 1976 in H.F. Verwoerd Hospital.
Coert Petrus van Blerk
Coert Petrus was born on December 30th, 1916 in Cradock. He died at the age of 21 in 1937 in Jaggerfontein Mine, Boksburg.
