John Turner McKellar 
John Turner was born in 1827 in Argyll, Scotland. He died at the age of 64 on March 18th, 1891 in Somerset Hospital, Cape Town.General Notes

BUFFELSFONTEIN AND CAPE POINT FARM p82
The size of Buffesfonein was 2100 morgen and the size of the Cape Point Farm was 399 morgen. Mckellar owned theses farms from 1857 to 1886. He was a progressive farmer and unlike the previous owners live on the farm.
He was declared insolvent in 1886.
