General Notes

On the 6 May 1919 he bought the building which was originally the F G Mills Store. After renovations the building became known as the Malherbe’s Building.  This building  was latter called False Bay Flats before becoming Dalebrook Flats and Dalebrook Place.
In 1922 he had a 3- bedroomed house built abutting Quarterdeck Road, Kalk Bay that was designed by the well –known architects Reid and Delbridge. He later named the house False Bay House.
