- Andrea has attended Liberty University part time from 2005 studying for a masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling.

    - I completed my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Graphic Design and Photography. After about 15 years, I realized that I wanted to change careers and has gone back to school to gain my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. I am still working on this goal today, and am about halfway through the program.

    - I had a hard time getting started when after I first graduated, my first professional job in my field I was able to obtain about a year after I graduated college. That job was a good starting point, but it was hard being away from my family. Nine months into that job, I was laid off, as the company was downsizing. I moved back to State College and got another job working in my home town. That job I did not like very much but I learned that the office environment one works in is a very important factor to job satisfaction. I quit a year later to take a position at the Centre Daily Times (CDT), the local newspaper, and have been there ever since.
      
      I have had many ups and downs with the CDT. I have experienced both tremendous growth and the frustration of stagnation. My predominant attutde towards my job is to always do my best with integrity. This means doing my job with diligence and with the highest quality I can produce. I am not very social at my job, I would rather be left alone to work and get my projects done. I get angry and frustrated when others around me do not put in the effort or the quality as I think they should. My philosophy really is to put in the effort to get the job done right the first time. I feel that there is a reasonable amount of time one has to learn their job, but if you are a professional, you should always know what you are doing in your business and stay on top of your assigments.
      
      During my time at the CDT, I realized that Art really was not my passion, and I felt God calling me to do something else. I started school to gain my Master's Degree and the training needed to change careers. I have put as much dedication into my education as I have into my employment.

A few years ago, Andrea states that she came to point where she was able to forgive Mark, however, she remains uncomfortable around him and does not care to have a restored relationship with him.
