Sarah was born in year 1825 in St Eval, Cornwall, England. Sarah's father was Joseph Vivian and her mother was Mary Leverton. Her maternal grandparents were John Leverton and Sarah Cockin. She was the oldest of eight children. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Stephen, Richard, Sarah, Fanny and Isabella. She died, at the age of 6 years, in year 1831 in St Eval, Cornwall, England.
