Robert was born in Suffolk, Shotley.  Robert's father was Jonathon Rudland and his mother was Mary.  He was the youngest of four children.  He had three brothers named Jonathan, James and Joseph.  He died on March 27th, 1729 in Suffolk, Shotley.
