Elizabeth was born in year 1798 in Suffolk.  Elizabeth's father was William Taylor and her mother was Elizabeth Hayward Rutland.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Taylor and Mary Corbold; her maternal grandparents were  Joseph Rutland and  Mary Frost.  She was an only child.

Elizabeth's family with James Cousins

James and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on August 7th, 1821 in Suffolk, Stoke by Nayland.  They had a son named George.
