Thomas was born in March 1848 in St Enoder, Cornwall and was baptised on March 20th, 1848. Thomas' father was Thomas Pearce and his mother was Mary Bullock. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pearce and Ann Clemow; his. He was the second of five children. He had four sisters named Ann, Mary, Dorothy and Ann. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Elizabeth. He died, at the age of 55 years, in year 1903 in Devonport, Devon.
