Billie's father was George Tyler and his mother was Maud Alice Harding.  His paternal grandparents were John Tyler and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were  William Greenhard Harding and  Caroline Elizabeth Best.  He was the youngest of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named Jim, Maud, Caroline and <Unknown>.
