Grietje was born on 10-May-1888.  Grietje's father was Hendrik van den Kommer - B and her mother was Trijntje  ? Gorter.  Her paternal grandparents were Cornelis (cor) van den Kommer - B and Dorothea  Rep (?).  She was the second of five children.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Frederik, Klaas, Frederika and Marijtje.  She died, at the age of 90, on 25-Jul-1978.
