István Asbóth

István was born on February 27th, 1768 in Szany Sopron vm.¹   István's father was György Asbóth and his mother was Katalin Horváth.  His paternal grandparents were Pál Asbóth and Katalin Gasztonyi. He had three brothers and two sisters, named György, József, István, Erzsébet and Katalin.  He was the oldest of the six children.
