Helén was born on May 22nd, 1842.¹ Helén's father was Mór Ásboth and her mother was Wilma Schmidt. Her paternal grandparents were András Asbóth and Alojzia Mihálkovics. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Móricz/Mór, Géza, Ödön, Aladár, Jenő, Kornélia, Ilma, Vilma, Natália, Andorin, Irma, Aranka and Elma. She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children.²
