Place of death recorded as "Chat" in Deborah O'Donnnell's notes.  Some of the records indicate she died in 1967 but this is incorrect.   Date of death is recorded on a gravestone in Birchip cemetery, but Birichip cemetery records do not record her as being buried there.  Ann Marie Yee writes (email 7/8/09) "I know that she died in Sydney and I remember Wendy telling me that Gus "arranged to have her brought back to Birchip" (to be with Charlie) though it is possible that she was cremated and they brought her ashes back there." 

There is no official record of Gus’s birth but in Hilda’s diary on 17 October 1912 she says “… it is now two months since my little one was born …” and when Gus met Karin Olars in 1983 she showed him her birthday book with the entry “Gustav Orlaf Charles Anders (Andrews) O’Donnell” on 17 August 1912. Gus was born in Karin Olars’s mother’s house, “Olars Karin’s Gard in Västannor”.

Birchip cemetery records list age at death = 1, but the birth notice in the Argus gives a birth date that would make this incorrect.
