Ioan was born in 1833 and his christening was conducted by the priest.  Ioan's father was Parepeanu and his mother was Alexandra Parepeanu. He had a brother and four sisters, named Tache, Ana, Maritza, Leana and Costanda.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 80 on September 24th, 1913 in Baraitaru.  His body was entombed in Baraitaru.
