    Killed His Wife
    
    Jealousy of a star boarder is said to have led Paul Lapcevic, aged 31, of Yukon, this county, to kill his wife, Sarah Lapcevic, aged 27 years, on Saturday. He is said to have threatened to kill her on Friday, but could not find a weapon. Saturday he got hold of a 38-calibre revolver, and approaching his wife he is alleged to have asked her why she was "all dressed up." Upon receiving no reply he is said to have opened fire, sending five bullets in her direction. Three of them took effect, and the woman fell over dead. Four little children were made motherless by the deed. The husband made no attempt to escape and he was taken into custody a short time later, together with Mike Bostic, aged 19, a boarder.
