    Geraldine Rita Negich, 77, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, in Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hempfield Township. She was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Anthony and Lillian Santi Petrilli. Geraldine was employed by McKee Elementary School in Jeannette. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, and the Ascension Church Senior Citizens Bocce League. Geraldine has helped and guided many friends through troubled times. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jeffrey "Hubert" Negich, in 1987; and a brother, Robert Petrilli. She is survived by her children, Janis Costellic and husband, James, of Jeannette, Jeffrey A. Negich and wife, Lisa, of Dawson, and David R. Negich and wife, Tami, of Greensburg; nine grandchildren, Michael Mull and wife Tracie, Kerry McTeir, Sherry Artman and husband Michael, Andrea Negich and fiance Cody Shannon, Jeffery Malik II, Lacey Slavin and husband Todd, Larissa Malik, Christopher and Nicholas Negich; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Heather, Jacob, Thomas, Anthony, Noah, Matthew, Taylor, Kendal and Harlie; a sister, Yola Loughner, of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A blessing service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Father John M. Foriska officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620 or to a charity of one's choice
