WF Rodgers met Eva here, house on Shelby Dr. on a hill, then moved to Holmes Rd. -old white house- sold 30 acres. Rented Lavelle Moore's mother's house, then rented on corner of Crumpler and Shelby (Boshene? House?). Dorothy in 9th grade. 1939 moved to house on Holmes and Germantown, $1900 for house and 9 acres. WF worked for Chicago and Southern Airlines, maintenance and repair carpentry. 1954 Delta bought Chicago & Southern, transferred him to Atlanta. Took Becky and Bill, retired 1963, came home.
