Chaim was born in 1914. Chaim's father was Itzhak Rot and his mother was Leah Werter. His paternal grandparents were Moshe Rot and Sara ?; his maternal grandparents were Berisch Werter and Gitel ?. He was the oldest of four children. He had a brother and two sisters, named Melech, Rachel and Bracha. He died due to murder / assassination.
