Berisch was born in 1917. Berisch's father was Avraham Werter and his mother was Sara Mindel Ring. His paternal grandparents were Berisch Werter and Gitel ?; his maternal grandparents were Yitzhak Ring and Shoha ?. He was the oldest of two children. He had a sister named Lea. He died, at the age of 27, in 1944 due to murder / assassination.
