Barney's father was Edward (Popeye) Eugene Saylor and his/her mother was Saundra Jean McMillen (Saylor / DeFeo).  His/her paternal grandparents were Oswald (Ob) Edward Saylor and Ethel Irene McGown; his/her maternal grandparents were Harley Pirice McMillen and Mary (Sis) Louise Owens (McMillen / Centra).  He/she was the youngest of six children.  He/she had two brothers and three sisters, named Eugene , James, Deb, D.J. and Cheryl.  He/she had a half-sister named Lou Lou.
