Charles was born on April 20th, 1823 in Nockamixon Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.1  Charles' father was Frederick Younkin and his mother was Elizabeth ? (Younkin).  His paternal grandparents were Frederick G Younkin and Maria Barbara Dieter. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Nicholas, Henry, Anna, Matilda, Hannah, Mary, Sarah and Catharine.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 on February 11th, 1902 in Springfield Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.  He was buried on February 15th, 1902 at the Durham Union Church Cemetery, Durham, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.

Charles and Lavina were married in a religious & civil ceremony.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Henry and Mary.

Charles and Lucinda were married in a religious & civil ceremony.1  They had four sons and three daughters, named Landis, Abraham, Charles, Franklin, Sarah, Lizzie and Ella.
