Julio's father was Pedro Cob (Nuñez) and his mother was Mujer Pedro.  His paternal grandparents were Dámaso Cob (Reyes) and Francisca Nuñez.  He is the third of four children.  He had three brothers named Ángel, Antonino and Teófilo.
