Pál was born on February 17th, 1860 in Lucfalva and his christening took place there on February 21st, 1860 conducted by Pastor Vladár János.1   His godfathers were Csiba Gergely, Jezermiczky Sándor, Brinza András and his godmothers were Priviczky Wladár Ottilia, Gregori Mária, Morhács Mária, Tokay Mária.  Pál's father was Plachy Sámuel and his mother was Folkusházy Clementina.  His paternal grandparents were Plachy Mihály and Csesznák Anna. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Géza Napóleon, István, Sámuel, Károly János, Tamás József, Gyula, Etelka Erzsébet, Ilona, Amália Mária, Erzsébet Etelka, Izabella Ottilia Emma, Ilona and Mária.  He died at the age of 83 on November 3rd, 1943 in Losonc.  He was buried on November 5th, 1943 in Losonctamási (Tomasovce).2

‌Pál and Anna were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son and two daughters, named Péter, Ilona and Katalin.
