Plachy Márton

Márton was born on October 16th, 1808 in Korpás Varbók and his christening took place in Cseri conducted by Pastor Csery Pál ev. lelkész.¹   His godfathers were Plachy Márton, Csesznák Márton and his godmother was Plachy Barbara.

Márton's father was Plachy László and his mother was Aranyi Judit.  His paternal grandparents are Plachy Pál and Csesznák, Mária. He had three brothers and three sisters, named András, László, Antal, Barbara, Judit and Zsuzsanna.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 46 on September 18th, 1855 in Nemesvarbók.  The funeral took place in Nemesvarbók and was arranged by Miskolci Sámuel tanító.  He was buried on September 20th, 1855 in Nemesvarbók.^2 2
