Plachy János

János was born on August 26th, 1825 in Losonc and his christening took place there in August 1825 conducted by Pastor Fretska Sámuel ev. lelkész.¹   His godfather was Turák György and his godmother was Kupetz Zsuzsanna.

János' father was Plachy, János and his mother was Bernáth, Mária.  His paternal grandparents were Plachy András and Kuna Anna. He had five brothers and two sisters, named András, András, János, János, István, Erzsébet and Zsuzsanna.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 4 on January 1st, 1830.
