Katalin was born on January 25th, 1849 in Nógrád ?. Katalin's father is Plachi János and her mother is Szikora Katalin. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Pál, János, Ferenc, János, Mária, Anna, Erzsébet and Anna.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died due to natural causes or old age, aggkori végelgyengülés, at the age of 87 on April 2nd, 1936 in Nógrád.  She was buried in Nógrád.1

‌Katalin and András were married in a religious ceremony on April 25th, 1914 in Nógrád by the priest.
