Csémi János

János was born on October 18th, 1816 in Ekecs and his christening took place there conducted by minister Csóka József (aranyosi nemes Csóka József).^1 2   His godfather was Tóth Pál and his godmother was Katz Sára.

János' father was Csémi Gergely and his mother was Ádám Erzsébet.  His maternal grandfather is Ádám István and his maternal grandmother was Szabó Erzsébet. He had three brothers and five sisters, named István, József, László, Rozália, Rozália, Rozália, Erzsébet and Erzsébet.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine known children.
