Ádám József

József was born on January 15th, 1811 in Ekecs and his christening took place there on January 15th, 1811 conducted by minister Csóka József (aranyosi nemes Csóka József).¹   His godfather was Tóth János and his godmother was Katz Sára.

József's father was Ádám István and his mother was Bartalos Éva.  His paternal grandfather is Ádám István and his paternal grandmother was Szabó Erzsébet. He had three brothers and a sister, named Péter, Károly, Péter and Erzsébet.  He was the third oldest of the five known children.  He died at the age of 55 on October 4th, 1866 in Alistál.  The funeral took place on October 5th, 1866 in Alistál and was arranged by Pethes Endre nagytiszteletű úr.  He was buried in Alistál.

‌József and Julianna were married in a religious & civil ceremony on December 13th, 1837 in Alistál by Pastor Csóka Pál ref.pap and witnessed by Nemes Bíró Sándor és Nemes Mádi Péter.²

They had three sons and a daughter, named Ferenc, Ferenc, József and Eszter.  There are possibly more children.
