Sebastião was born on September 15th, 1935 in Entre Folhas.  Sebastião's father was José Vicente de Paula and his mother was Maria Alves Pinto.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 on May 23rd, 1993 in São Domingos do Prata.

Sebastião and Nilza  were married.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Roberto, Marcelo and Edinilza.
