Henry "the Young King" was born on February 28th, 1155 in Bermondsey.  Henry "the Young King"'s father was Henry II. Curtmantle Plantagenet and his mother was Aliénor Aquitaine, d'.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V. "le Bel" Plantagenet and Matilda Normandy, de; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume VIII. (X.) Aquitaine, d' and Eleonore Chatellerault, de. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Richard I. "the Lion-Hearted", Geoffrey, John "Lackland", Matilda "Maud", Eleanor and Joan. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Geoffrey, Morgan, Marie and Alix.  He died at the age of 28 on June 11th, 1183 in Martel.
