Ludwig Anhalt-Köthen, von

Ludwig was born in 1579. Ludwig's father was Joachim Ernst Anhalt, von and his mother was Eleonore Württemberg, von. His paternal grandparents were Johann II. Anhalt-Zerbst, von and Margaret Hohenzollern. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Bernhard, August, Rudolf, Johann Ernst, Agnes Hedwig, Dorothea Marie, Sabine, Joachim Christof and Anna Sofie. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Johann Georg I., Christian I., Anna Marie, Agnes, Elisabeth and Sibylle. He died at the age of 71 in 1650.
