Kasimire was born in 1749. Kasimire's father was Leopold II. Anhalt-Dessau, von and her mother was Gisela Agnes Anhalt-Köthen, von. Her paternal grandparents were Leopold I. Anhalt-Dessau, von and Anna Luise Foese; her maternal grandparents were Leopold Anhalt-Köthen, von and Friederike Henriette Anhalt-Bernburg, von. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Leopold III., Johann Georg, Albert, Luise, Agnes and Leopoldine. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 29 in 1778.
