Jaquemyne was born in 1445 in Mechelen, Antwerpen, Belgium.  Jaquemyne's father was Jan Van Heffene and her mother is Catharina Van Muysen.  Her paternal grandparents are Jacob Van Heffene and Joanna Vlemincx; her maternal grandparents were Gillis Van Muysen and Margriete Boydens.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 84 in 1529 in Mechelen, Antwerpen, Belgium.
