Joannes Franciscus was born on April 23rd, 1782 in Lier, Antwerp, Belgium.  Joannes Franciscus' father was Melchior Tisson and his mother was Anna Catharina Pastyn.  His paternal grandfather was Melchior Tisson and his paternal grandmother is Maria Theresia Denis. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joannes Baptista, Joannes Baptista and Anna Elisabetha.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Melchior Gummarus, Guilielmus, Guilielmus, Johannes Fransiscus, Michael and Anna Maria.  He died at the age of 53 on December 22nd, 1835 in Lier, Antwerp, Belgium.
