Anna Clara was born in February 1715 in Lier, Antwerp, Belgium.  Anna Clara's father is Bernardus Tisson and her mother is Cornelia Vernimmen. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Petrus, Joannes Baptista, Melchior, Franciscus, Guilhelmus, Cornelius, Maria Cornelia and Catharina.  She is the seventh oldest of the nine children.
