Diana's father was Charles Spencer, Earl of Sunderland and her mother was Judith Tichborne.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Spencer, Earl of Sunderland and Anne Digby of Bristol. She had a sister named Anne. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, Charles, John and Francis.  She died in 1735.
