Minnie was born about 1865 in Rochester, Kent, England.1   Minnie's father is William Browning.  Her paternal grandparents are Nathaniel Browning and Caroline Pearse. She has four brothers and three sisters, named Harry, James., Willie, Thomas G, Eliza Lilly, Caroline Minnie and Annie.  She is the second oldest of the eight children.
